Edward M. Druce Founder
Edward is a former 10 Downing Street special advisor to Dominic Cummings (then chief advisor to the Prime Minister). Edward left school aged 17 (despite being an A-student) to pursue entrepreneurship in favor of academia. He is the co-founder of Course Concierge, which was part-acquired in March 2020 (as a bootstrapped company that received no startup capital, funding or loan of any kind); as well as Altitude Climbing with Magnus Midtbø and Till H. Gross. Edward is based in London, and a proponent of Applied History.

Se Taylor is a South African graduate with an interdisciplinary International Relations degree specializing in History, Politics, and Philosophy. She is a dedicated research assistant with a keen interest in history, world politics, and linguistics. Se aspires to a career in diplomacy, and hopes to become an international relations consultant with a particular focus on Sino-African relations.
Sang-Hwa Lee Lead Writer
Sang-Hwa is a foreign policy researcher and an inaugural Civic Future fellow (2023–2024) based in London. She has a Double First in History from the University of Cambridge, where she specialized in 20th century history and political thought. Following her undergraduate degree, she spent a year studying Management Studies at the Judge Business School, and also gained an MA (Distinction) in Philosophy from King’s College London. Aside from geopolitics and Applied History, she writes broadly on cultural and political topics.

Abisola, a Nigerian-based English Language graduate, holds an MBA degree in International Business with a 4.0 GPA. Her educational background has instilled in her a love for language, business and effective communication. She has always been fascinated by the power of business diplomacy to shape public opinion and influence consumer behavior.
